Method

Four rules govern every file.

Published evidence stays published evidence

A restaurant file starts with material the restaurant itself publishes: its own site, menus, reservation terms, event information and other first-party pages. We preserve the source URL with the record instead of turning a source into an unattributed fact.

Silence stays unknown

If the restaurant has not stated a deposit, cancellation rule, accessibility detail, dietary-handling practice or other decision-critical fact, Deep Dish does not convert the blank into a reassuring no. It remains an open question to verify before booking.

Fit is not the same thing as quality

Deep Dish ranks fit for the night being planned: occasion, party, spend, booking pathway, room and other stated constraints. It is not a universal restaurant score and it does not claim that one room is objectively better than another.

Consequential details still need confirmation

Restaurant facts can change. Menus, hours, prices, reservation policies and private-event terms should still be confirmed before money or guests are committed.

Limits

What one file cannot promise.

A useful decision record should make uncertainty smaller, not invisible. These are the limits that remain even when a restaurant file is unusually complete.

A published web page can be incomplete, stale, or temporarily unavailable.
A restaurant can handle a request in practice without publishing that capability online.
Noise, pacing and service can vary by date, room, party size and service period.
Deep Dish cannot guarantee availability, pricing, accessibility, allergy handling or reservation terms at the moment you book.

Close the questions that can change the night.

Confirm anything consequential that is still open: the exact accessibility path you need, dietary or allergy handling, deposit and cancellation terms, party-size rules, table time, current pricing and availability.
