London · The O2 and event dining
By Rachel. Planning from operator pages, not a visit.
Dinner before you scan into The O2, food on the arena concourse, and Mamma Mia! The Party are three different plans. A table outside the arena is not permission to leave and come back in, and an arena ticket is not a restaurant reservation.
Compare a restaurant before arena entry, food after the ticket scan, and a separately booked theatrical meal. These have different access requirements and time commitments.
The places, and the job each one does
- Banana Tree · O2 Arena · Restaurant · before or after the show
- Gaucho · The O2 · Restaurant · table booking
- The O2 arena kitchens · Arena food · outlet choice still required
- Mamma Mia! The Party · London · Ticketed show and meal
What is different here
Banana Tree and Gaucho are outside arena admission. The arena kitchens entry is a directory of ticketed outlets, not one restaurant with one price. Mamma Mia! The Party needs its own booking; another O2 ticket does not include it.
Dining options in this guide
Every line below is what the operator published, with the page it came from and the day it was read. None of it confirms that your party can get in, get a table or eat the food. That part is still a phone call or a booking page.
Restaurant · before or after the show
Banana Tree · O2 Arena
London · outside The O2 arena
The operator describes pan-Asian dining outside the arena, available without attending an arena event. Selected event dates use a reduced menu and exclude some offers.
Access: Restaurant access is separate from arena admission. Once you enter the arena, do not assume you can leave for this meal and re-enter.

Confirm your event-date menu, offer eligibility, table booking, last kitchen order and time to the ticket scan.

Restaurant · table booking
Gaucho · The O2
London · The O2 entertainment district
The O2 lists Gaucho for Argentine steak dining and recommends advance booking on event nights.
Access: This entertainment-district restaurant is distinct from arena concourse food. A table booking does not provide arena entry.
Confirm the show-date menu, table time, service charge and cancellation terms. Leave time to settle the bill and pass arena security.

Arena food · outlet choice still required
The O2 arena kitchens
London · inside The O2 arena
The venue lists kitchens and Grill Street outlets on arena levels. Choose an outlet reachable from your ticketed area before pricing the meal.
Access: An appropriate event ticket and arena entry are required. Food bought outside is not normally admitted; the arena has a no-re-admission rule.
This is a directory. Browse it, then choose a specific outlet before you price a meal. It is not added as one confirmed restaurant.

Ticketed show and meal
Mamma Mia! The Party · London
London · The O2 · separate theatrical dining experience
The operator describes a four-course Greek meal served during a theatrical experience lasting approximately four hours; sharing platters and shared tables may be involved.
Access: Requires its own booking; another O2 event ticket does not include this experience. Confirm guest and seating requirements directly.

Check your package’s inclusions, extra drinks, dietary arrangements and cancellation terms. Enter the full experience duration as the dining allowance and count a bundled ticket-and-meal price only once.

Still to resolve
- Plan back from your event’s doors and arrival instructions, including security. A restaurant reservation does not admit you to the arena.
- The arena has a no-re-admission rule. Do not plan an outside restaurant as a mid-event backup after leaving the arena. Check event-specific instructions.
- Check the menu and offer terms for your event date; a restaurant’s general promotion may be excluded on show dates.
- Mamma Mia! The Party is a separate booked dining experience, not an ordinary pre-show restaurant or food included with another O2 event ticket. Allow its full experience time.
- Use GBP and confirm service charges and extra drinks. A building’s closing time does not establish a restaurant’s last kitchen order.
- A King’s Cross arrival, a South Bank lunch or a West End pre-theatre dinner is a different day. Those choices are in the London city-break guide, not repeated here.
